Minutes of May 1, 1995 Selectmen Meeting
Selectmen Attending: Charles Flynn; Joseph Frisoli, Chair; and Catherine Kuchinski, Clerk. Also attending: Joseph Nugent, Executive Secretary to the Board. Murdoch present for Executive Session at 7:20 p.m.
I. Meeting opened: Frisoli called the meeting called to order at 7:15 p.m. at the Selectmen's Town Meeting table at the High School auditorium.
II. Request for Executive Session: Frisoli noted the need for an Executive Session to hear the update on the negotiations for the FY96 Police Union Contract. It was also noted that the union's grievances have been settled. Motion 5/1/95.1: move to enter Executive Session for collective bargaining under #3.. Motion made by Flynn with second by Kuchinski. Roll Call Vote: Frisoli: Aye; Flynn: Aye; Kuchinski: Aye. Motion carried 3-0. Vote may be announced upon return to open session. Selectmen then moved themselves to Room 174 for the session.
II> Adjournment: Re-entered Open session at 7:35 at the Selectmen's table. Discussion/vote not ready for public pending results. No further business was noted. Motion 5/1/95.2: move to adjourn. Motion made by Murdoch with second by Flynn. Motion carried 4-0. Adjourned at 7:36 pm.
Selectmen then left Room 174 and returned to Open Session at Selectmen's Table at the Town Meeting at 7:30 pm.
